it's time to have a theme party!

theme parties are so much fun. often as adults we forget how to let go and enjoy ourselves. a theme party is a gift for your guests. it gives them the opportunity to dress up and most importantly play. or at least have a sense of play.

beach blanket bingo anyone? we loved how these 24" beach balls really wowed guests as they came in. there was no mistaking this beach party. our event designers custom built the dock table, which served margaritas, provided the palm trees and all coordinating beach inspired decor.

how about a speak easy party? always a timeless classic. guests that attended this fundraising event in wyoming dressed in 20's attire and took pictures with a model T. table 4 decor worked with the event coordinator and hung all the pipe and drape, chandeliers and can lights. we provided the tables & linen. our design team had the silhouettes custom made. each of the four rooms had different speakeasy inspired decor - casino, cocktails and cinema.

(did we mention the building was unheated or lighted until we hung lights and it was a cold, rainy day in april. we are nothing if not dedicated - or nuts)

enter a new york state of mind. table 4 decor designed and built this skyline as a backdrop for a mad men inspired theme party. the backdrop was complete with twinkling stars and the addy logo perched as the moon atop the skyline. the awards banquet guests came dressed with 60's hats and attire.

one of our favorite clients (and possibly my design soul mate - see alice in wonderland above) wanted to celebrate her oldest daughter's 40' birthday in style. hosted at the iconic elk creek steakhouse in black hawk, south dakota, the western inspired decorations were perfect. table 4 decor custom built the split rail fence, pulled some of our design inventory out of storage (gears, water pump, enamelware etc) and went to town. and yes, that is a rattle snake - which my design twin and I giggled & giggled & giggled about.

okay - this one was really fun. it was a bride marrying a service man about to be deployed. since they were unable to celebrate their wedding the way they wanted (in a tropical locale), we did our best to bring the feeling of the beach to them. the best part was the 24' long custom built dock that they walked down as their aisle.

these are just a few ideas for theme parties. drop by our interactive showroom, get inspired and wow your fellow rapid citians with your party know how.
